¿Todavía no tienes cuenta?

There is a list of questions below that will hopefully answer any reasonable doubts about our series. If you desire further information, write to us to: info@organicadtm.com, so we can add it to his section.

About the series

Why its name?

Because all animals have eyebrows (cejas, in spanish) very marked cause they are "angry" with adults in the manner in which they have treated the planet.

Where can I watch the series?

Not yet broadcasted on TV. We are in the middle of the process of creation and hope to be on TV in a couple of years. We hope you visit our website first to watch some of it.

When will the series start to broadcast on TV?

Hopefully between 2009/2010.

How do we make the series?

The series is 2D and is made as follows: All designs of the characters and backgrounds are created by computer (we use Inkscape and Gimp). Then, we use Flash for the animation process, despite we maintain some traditional animation components (where movements need to be softer). Nowadays this is how we do it, but could be prepared to change the process in the future.

How did the idea occur?

We wanted a series that could be watched by us as well as by our children. We wanted it to be fun and full of action, but that could treat children as intelligent people. We have always worked on environmental projects and wanted to achieve all that in a manner attractive to children. We hope we have succeded!

Has the series some real component or is it all fiction?

It's all fiction, but we want the series to have a high degree of realism, so we rely on expert advisers in various fields who are helping us.

  • Greenpeace Spain: Ecologic and environmental education subjects.
  • Mirian Rodriguez: An expert in pedagogy.
  • Sonsire Vidal: Computer engineer and expert in artificial intelligence and new technologies.

All About the characters

Why so many of them?

It's a ensemble cast series where each of the characters has its own weight and significance. It is like real life. We didn't want to focus on just one character, although it would have been much easier for us.

Who are the main characters?

Mikie, Tito and Marek.

Why is Mikie friend of a ballon?

It is a loooooong story to tell, but imagine a racoon playing with a ballon in real life...

Does Tito eat his nunchakus carrot?

He is addicted to carrots, so anything is possible.

Why Smith uses tutu in privacy?

The idea is to show that, society or our friends, stop us from doing what we truly want to do in life many times. We expect that villains do not have sensitivity, so our best way of showing how difficult all this seems to be sometimes is to make Smith wear a tutu when is alone.

What operating systems does Eli use in her computer?

We are not sure of Eli's but we use: Windows XP, Ubuntu and OpenSuSE.

Do carrot dogs exist?

We hope not, but you never know...

Don't you think it is too typical that the characters are multiracial?

We heard once, but we believe that's just the way life is all around the world. We want children to see what is around them in the most natural way.

Bounty, miembro de la sede de Tenerife

Bounty, member of Tenerife Headquarters

Have you met any of the animals that are members of CB in real life?

Yes, quite a few. In our trips to Spain, France, Ireland, Venezuela, Argentina, Germany, Italy, Slovakia, China, Korea, The United States, etc... We always find a CB member!

Why do adults have square heads?

It is a visual metaphor with which we wanted to show that the majority of adults are rigid and forget the spontaneity of children. They are away from nature and are afraid of changes.

By contrast, children and animals have rounded heads, a more organic and closer to nature shape.

All about the site and the community

What is the idea of the community?

To build a bridge between us, as producers of the series, and all the people who like the characters, the idea and a future series. We also believe it is important to know what you think, so we can take it into account.

How can I participate?

We hope people gets involved with fanart, as MCN reporters and with many other things that will gradually come up. You can also spread the series using the banners we have created (or doing yours and sharing it with others and if you get many votes we will make it official), or if you like languages you can translate the website, so it will be of easier access to everyone.

Will you, indeed, respond my questions and suggetions?

Yes. We promise that, and if we dare not to do it, you can say so in your blog, so everyone wll know about it, but give us a prudential time to answer them because we might be busy and need more time to answer all the questions received.

How can I create a group of fans in my home town and would I have advantages for doing so?

To do so, you can start talking to your friends on your blog... and once you have a group of more than 5 people in your city, you simply let us know and we will add it to the section addressed to fans, that will evolve according to your own criterion, so we expect your feedback and ideas. On the advantages... we would think about that but, for example, we could make a personalized design with your ideas for the group, so you would have something unique.

What are the advantages of having friends in the community?

You can share Fanart and value the work of others. You can meet more people, their websites/blogs... if you have any more ideas, please let us know.

Why do you use Twitter to participate as MCN reporters?

Because they have a large amount of users. When Google has free access to Jaiku in the future, we will include it aswell. If you know any other microblogging system that is interesting, let us know and we will study the possibility of including it.

What can I say as a MCN reporter?

Whatever you like, if they are not insulting or likely to be cassified as adult material. We would like you to give us yur point of view of your home town, surroundings and recommend what could be done there... Propose ideas and solutions, so that everyone can read it.

What technology do you use for the website?

Web is made with Drupal and database is Mysql, the code has been edited with Gedit. Our PC has Ubuntu like OS. All graphics are designed with Inkscape and Gimp, directly using Wacom tablets..

About the creators

David con gorro de hormiga

Caricature of David G. Reinfeld,
the artist behind CB-Cejas Bravas with his ant-hat, the best one to work on the designs.

Who makes the series?

The idea was born on OrganicaDTM and promoted primarily as a producer from there.

Who is the scriptwriter?

We made a choice between more than 100 scriptwriters to get someone with fresh style, capable to bring the series into life. She is Cristina Garcia Gomez, a.k.a. Sico, from Madrid.

Who is the graphic artist?

It is our creative director, David Gonzalez Reinfeld. We really love his work.

Do you work for other companies?

Of course! If the proposal seems interesting enough... We are always happy to participate in others projects. We go from developing characters to design ideas... We could love to see a pair of shoes or a car with our designs on them!! :)

Where is OrganicaDTM?

In Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain. If you are not sure about how to find us, have a look at Googlemaps and it will be much easier.

How do I contact you?

It is always better to email us and then, arrange to talk by phone/skype or visit. Contact details are available in the section addressed to this.

For broadcasters, producers and investors

I am interested in participating in the series because I love your proposal. What can I do?

We are trying to make the series become a reality but we need to find televisions and investors that believe in our project. The best option would be to email us or call us by phone and we can talk about the possibilities until we come to an agreement. We are very flexible as long as you respect our work and children.

Can you send to us the bible of the series and the technical issue to consider our participation?

You can contact us and explain what you have in mind. We will be very pleased to send you a copy of the bible and all the data needed to consider your participation.

Where have you displayed the series?

The series has been officially presented at european level at Cartoon Forum Girona 2007 (end of september, 2007) with a very good acceptance. It was a honor to have been selected to participate and share with the sector colleagues. We have also had several private meetings with different producers and TV.

What reaction are you getting from people? What kind of support you rely on?

So far the reactions have been very positive and is attracting a lot of curiosity. What people enjoys most is, undoubtedly, the graphic designs and its potential merchandising. Our weakest point is that we have not financed the project yet and the fact that this is OrganicaDTM first project of animation.

Now we count on the support of “Canarias Cultura en Red”, which is coproducer and is linked to Canary Islands Government and we are in touch with several producers and broadcasters interested in our series, so we will have more news over 2008.

Looking for co-production?

Yes. We want the series to become a reality, so we need to find partners of quality that will enable us to achieve our goal.

Has the series been thought as a multiplatform project?

Completely! If you have a look at our website, you will find that we have integrated Internet and mobile devices in our series. We hope we can videogames in the future for all the platforms.

Multiplataforma CB

The idea is that series is available on all platforms
and that suits the real demands of the fans.

On licensing

My company is responsible for representing licenses to ensure the maximum benefits for owners in the world of licensing. We assure you, you will be well placed. Would you be interested in working with us?

Contact us and we will try to come to an agreement. We are always interested in negotiating as long as something positive comes along for CB project.

My company produces X products (handbags, notebooks, toys, clothes, ...) and we would love that your characters were part of our line. Would you be interested?

Of course! You can contact us and we can talk about details.

What kind of products do you want to associate with the series?

The only requirement is that they are good quality and not harmful to children.

What markets would you like to reach?

CB has an overall design and hope to be in as many countries as possible.

Merchandising CB

Some examples of the potential for merchandising in the series.

On the use of the website and their contents

Can I freely use your designs in my project/web/...?

Only if it not commercial!, otherwise we will have to speak to reach an economic agreement. For more information visit our “legal” section.

You can use our wallpapers on your computer, as well as other materials that are available to download free of charge. If you use any of our designs in your project, it is always good to consult with us and it will be great to know you like it that much.

Why is the series not free of charge if you use some free software tools, such as Inkscape or Gimp?

That's something we would seriously like but the problem is that we have to cover all costs and the associated costs that go with it. In addition, series are usually financed after entering production for many companies and it is complex to accept free distribution.

We are open to any ideas or suggestion to achieve it, so if any of you is interested in funding the series and make it of free distribution, we will be very pleased.

Can I download the trailer?

Yes, and it is absolutely free and legal.

May the chapters be downloaded free of charge?

We don't know yet, but we believe it will be very difficult to ensure that other firms involved in the project will accept this. They want to control the distribution... but today everything is changing so fast with P2P, Torrents, Youtube, Stage6, Joost, Miro, ... so it is just a matter of time and see what happens. We will keep you informed.

We believe it is a great idea to allow free distribution and even support users to make subs, because it accelerates the process of distribution at a speed that can hardly assume a producer, no matter how large the producer is. The most important thing is to achieve this having economic benefits aswell, since animation production is very expensive and we all need money to live.
